Holistic approach to rehabilitation

Our holistic approach to rehabilitation is a comprehensive philosophy of care in which we see the patient as a whole person, not simply a set of symptoms or the effects of an illness.

In practice, this means our rehabilitation process goes far beyond physical treatment. At Origin Centres, we offer complete programmes that include physical therapy alongside psychological, neurological, and other forms of specialist support. This approach helps our patients regain not only physical fitness, but also mental and emotional balance.

We consider all aspects of human functioning, recognising that they influence one another:

  • Physical aspect:

    this involves relieving pain, restoring muscle strength, improving range of movement, coordination, balance, and all motor functions. We use physiotherapy, occupational therapy, manual techniques, robotics, and other physical methods to achieve these goals.

  • Mental and emotional aspect:

    injury, illness, or disability places a significant strain on mental health. Our holistic approach addresses stress, anxiety, and depression, while also strengthening motivation, improving self-esteem, and supporting a positive sense of self-worth.

  • Social aspect:

    we recognise that people are social beings and that illness can often lead to isolation. That’s why we place strong emphasis on social integration, family education, and adapting the patient’s environment. This includes guidance on modifications to the home, workplace, or other surroundings to make daily life easier.

Tailored programmes

At Origin Centres, we provide individually tailored rehabilitation for patients from a range of medical specialties, including neurology, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, surgery, oncology, cardiology, and intensive care. We are among the very few facilities in Poland able to accept patients in even the most challenging conditions – for us, every patient matters!

We specialise in dedicated therapeutic programmes:

  • NeuroCare:

    neurological rehabilitation, including recovery after stroke, craniocerebral trauma, and spinal cord injury;

  • OrtoCare:

    orthopaedic rehabilitation after injury, prehabilitation, and rehabilitation following joint replacement surgery;

  • SeniorCare

    specialised care for people with dementia;

  • DayCare:

    outpatient rehabilitation programmes.

Qualification for an individually tailored programme is based on a thorough review of the patient’s medical records, an assessment of their current health status, and an interview with the patient and their family.
